The Serenity of Surrender

There is a peculiar serenity in surrender, a quiet stability, almost a miracle. Perhaps surrender is the lightest form of self-love, the moment you stop asking yourself to carry everything alone.

I have always found my deepest joy in surrendering myself to the cosmos. To let the universe be larger than my explanations, to accept that not everything needs to be understood to be beautiful, and that not every uncertainty needs to be resolved.

I count stars sometimes, until the numbers become meaningless. After a million, I lose count. But when I surrender myself to the stars, something strange happens, I no longer need to count them.

For a moment, they all become one vast, still presence. Perhaps that is what surrender really is. Not losing yourself, but losing the desperate need to hold yourself apart from everything else. The moment you stop trying to make sense of the universe, you begin to belong to it. And in that belonging, there is a kind of joy so quiet that it feels almost like peace.

Somewhere in the hindsight universe keeps screaming to me, surrender D! Surrender completely! Surrender all you have and want!🤍
