Everything was tiny from up there,
People with big egos looked fragile,
the kingdom of mighty Himalayas,
Gave no chance even to the agiles!
I was agitated, off course and petrified,
Watered every 2 minutes and horrified.
Breath was ponderous,dark and deep,
I was about to give up on my knees!
Kailash whispered, so what that it?
You conquerer,vanquisher,champion.
Done with I,Me,Mine clover glory?
Shout out to that shallow fame ridden story!
Fossilised at the challenge,
I tried a little harder,pushed a little further.
cannot do it, I’m not trained for this!
I cried to that never ending deep curvature.
That mischievous grin, that malevolent smirk!
Chandrashila had a roundtable with Kailash.
They finally settled on the dialogue I awaited,
Smiling with love, Sun giving their eyes a spark!
Your definition of success is flawed my friend,
You think topping the charts is the real spot.
You want to come first in every race you run,
My dear, but the winner is one who never stops!
Life is all about finding your rhythm, your own song,
Sing it at your own pitch, pace and frequency.
Climb and hike as much as you can,
Don’t stop, step ahead with decency!
Be slow, Be steady but firm and energetic,
Be kind, share water, your energy kinetic.
Giving up is not the fabric of your skin,
You’ll be always on time if you find your rhythm!
I smiled and marched on with a wink.
I knew now I won’t sink!
Climbed with heart, love and soul,
Gazed the prestigious gargantuan giant ghost!
Made friends with the cuts and pebbles on my way,
Instead of conquering,surrendered my play.
Sang songs, penned my journey and kept marching,
They were generous to shake hands bending&arching!
